God is at work in North Korea! We believe we will see dramatic changes within North Korea in the near future. With technological advancements and the opening of travel opportunities inside the DPRK, many local churches are directly getting involved in North Korea and bypassing partnerships with agencies and other groups that are working toward the same goals. The Church must be prepared for what God is doing in this country and the world. We invite individuals, small groups, and churches to be part of this year’s Empower Conference and to find out how they can be prepared to see, to care, and to act.

During this year’s conference, we will examine the following questions: What examples and models are there of local churches being involved in North Korea? What are the ramifications, positive and negative? Why do we have NGOs and agencies in North Korea? What are their unique contributions in the world?
